Maria Assumpta Catholic Parish

Maria Assumpta parish is a warm and caring Catholic community at Beach Haven on the western edge of Auckland’s North Shore.

We rejoice in a strong community spirit and a multicultural diversity. Our parish is well known for its hospitality and the welcome it gives new parishioners and visitors. A large number of volunteers in a range of ministries assist in providing pastoral care.

Our name commemorates the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into heaven at the end of her life on earth. The Church sees this as a symbol of the promise made by Jesus to all faithful Christians that they too will be received into paradise.
